Paula joined the Great Pacific Group in August 2024 as Account Manager and has over 15 years of experience in the reinsurance industry. Great Pacific was established in 2006 with the objective of providing superior corporate and management services to insurance companies in Barbados. As an Account Manager, Paula is responsible for:

• Assistance with the execution of the client’s business plan 
• Management and coordination of activities between insureds, auditors, bankers, investment managers, regulators, actuaries, fronting companies, and brokers
• Monthly financial reporting and reconciliations
• Preparation of financial statements and facilitation of annual audit 
• Cash Management

Previous experience

• KPMG Barbados and Eastern Caribbean, Senior Manager, Audit (progressive positions within the Audit department from Assistant Account to Senior Manager)

Education 

• University of West Indies Cave Hill Campus – BSc in Accounting, Special (Hons) 
• Barbados Community College – Associate Degree in Accounting and Mathematics

Professional Designations 

• Fellow of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA)
